<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Warden of the Prison">
    The **Warden** is the highest-ranking official within the San Andreas Department of Corrections and holds ultimate responsibility for the administration, security, and operation of the correctional facility.

    The Warden establishes the overall vision, policies, procedures, and operational standards of the department and serves as the final authority regarding personnel decisions, disciplinary matters, inmate management, and facility operations.

    The Warden oversees department staffing, budgets, facility security, training standards, and compliance with Department of Justice and State regulations.

    They also serve as the primary liaison between the Department of Corrections and the Department of Justice, courts, government officials, and other department leadership.

    The Warden reviews significant incidents including riots, deaths in custody, major uses of force, security breaches, and other matters requiring High Command review.

    All Command-level appointments and major departmental decisions are subject to the authority and approval of the Warden.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Deputy Warden of the Prison">
    The **Deputy Warden** serves directly beneath the Warden and assists with the overall administration and operation of the Department of Corrections.

    The Deputy Warden is responsible for overseeing daily facility operations, supervising Captains and administrative divisions, and ensuring department policies and procedures are consistently enforced across all shifts and units.

    They oversee staffing levels, scheduling, operational planning, internal investigations, and significant disciplinary matters.

    The Deputy Warden works closely with the Warden on personnel decisions, facility operations, policy enforcement, and department development.

    In the absence of the Warden, the Deputy Warden assumes responsibility for Department of Corrections operations.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Corrections Captain">
    **Captains** are senior Command Staff responsible for overseeing multiple divisions and major operational areas within the correctional facility.

    Their responsibilities may include oversight of housing units, intake and processing, inmate transportation, facility security, work programs, and other specialized operations.

    Captains directly supervise Lieutenants and coordinate large-scale or shift-wide operations to ensure proper staffing, communication, and compliance with department procedures.

    They review serious reports, major incidents, inmate disciplinary matters, and operational concerns requiring Command-level attention.

    Captains are also responsible for monitoring training compliance and operational readiness throughout the department.

    During major disturbances, riots, security emergencies, or other significant incidents, a Captain may assume the role of Incident Commander until relieved by higher authority.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Corrections Lieutenant">
    **Lieutenants** are responsible for commanding an entire shift, major unit, or designated operational area within the correctional facility.

    Lieutenants directly supervise Sergeants and ensure correctional posts are appropriately staffed and department operations remain organized throughout their assigned shift.

    They oversee inmate movements, facility searches, lockdowns, transports, major incidents, and other operations requiring Command oversight.

    Lieutenants may review reports, evaluate employee performance, make disciplinary recommendations, and ensure department policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and security protocols are being properly followed.

    During critical incidents, Lieutenants may assume command of the scene until relieved by a Captain or higher-ranking Command Staff member.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Corrections Sergeant">
    **Sergeants** are established department supervisors responsible for directly overseeing Corporals and Correctional Deputies during daily facility operations.

    Sergeants assign personnel to posts, conduct roll calls and shift briefings, enforce department standards, and maintain accountability among personnel assigned to their shift.

    They handle routine inmate concerns, grievances, disciplinary issues, and minor incidents while ensuring more serious matters are properly escalated through the Chain of Command.

    Sergeants are responsible for reviewing reports and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with department standards.

    They commonly serve as the first supervisory response to disturbances, uses of force, security concerns, and other incidents requiring immediate leadership.

    Sergeants are also expected to train, mentor, and provide guidance to Corporals and junior Correctional Deputies.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Corrections Corporal">
    **Corporals** represent the first formal supervisory rank within the Department of Corrections and serve as developing leaders within the department.

    Corporals may act as shift leads when a Sergeant is unavailable and assist supervisors with daily facility operations, personnel oversight, training, evaluations, and policy enforcement.

    They provide guidance to Correctional Deputies during inmate interactions and may address elevated inmate concerns or operational issues before Command involvement becomes necessary.

    Corporals are expected to help maintain operational continuity during shift changes, major incidents, and periods of reduced supervisory staffing.

    While Corporals possess limited supervisory authority, significant disciplinary, personnel, or security matters should be escalated to a Sergeant or Command Staff member.

    Promotion to Corporal represents the beginning of formal leadership development within the Department of Corrections.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Senior Corrections Deputy">
    **Senior Correctional Deputies** are experienced department members who have demonstrated strong knowledge of correctional operations, facility security, inmate management, and department procedures.

    Senior Deputies are expected to serve as mentors and role models for newer Correctional Deputies and Cadets.

    They may be assigned to high-risk inmates, specialized security posts, inmate transportation details, or other assignments requiring greater experience and judgment.

    Senior Deputies frequently assist Supervisors during disturbances, facility operations, searches, transports, and other significant incidents.

    They are expected to operate independently with minimal supervision and may temporarily assume a lead role during periods of limited staffing when no formal Supervisor is immediately available.

    Senior Correctional Deputies may also assist Field Training Officers with the development and training of Cadets when authorized.

    Senior Deputies are not formal supervisors and may not overrule an assigned Corporal, Sergeant, or Command Staff member.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Corrections Deputy">
    **Correctional Deputies** make up the primary operational body of the San Andreas Department of Corrections and are responsible for maintaining the custody, safety, security, and control of inmates within the correctional facility.

    Correctional Deputies conduct inmate counts, searches, escorts, transports, security checks, and other routine correctional duties.

    They enforce facility rules and regulations, document inmate violations, respond to disturbances and medical emergencies, and assist with maintaining order throughout the facility.

    Deputies are responsible for accurately completing reports, incident documentation, inmate records, and other required department paperwork.

    Correctional Deputies are expected to operate professionally, remain alert to potential security threats, follow the Chain of Command, and represent the Department of Corrections appropriately at all times.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Corrections Cadet">
    **Correctional Cadets** are entry-level members of the Department of Corrections who are completing their initial training and evaluation period.

    Cadets are expected to learn department policies, correctional procedures, inmate management practices, facility operations, emergency procedures, and security protocols.

    They work under the direct supervision of an approved Correctional Deputy, Field Training Officer, or Supervisor and should not independently perform enforcement or security actions outside the scope of their training.

    Cadets may assist with basic correctional duties and inmate supervision while completing required training, evaluations, and certifications.

    Throughout the training process, Cadets are expected to demonstrate professionalism, discipline, sound judgment, situational awareness, and appropriate command presence.

    Correctional Cadets do not possess independent enforcement authority. Successful completion of the training process results in advancement to **Correctional Deputy**.
