### **San Andreas Department of Public Safety (SA-DPS)**

The San Andreas Department of Public Safety (SA-DPS) is comprised of multiple divisions responsible for law enforcement, emergency medical services, and corrections across the State of San Andreas. Within SA-DPS, there are **two primary law enforcement offices**, supported by additional public safety departments.

#### **Los Santos Police Department (LSPD)**

The Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) serves as the primary law enforcement agency for the City of Los Santos. Its core jurisdiction is within city limits; however, LSPD officers are authorized to conduct patrol operations and provide assistance in surrounding areas, including Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay, Harmony, Chumash, and other designated regions as needed.

#### **San Andreas State Troopers (SAST)**

The San Andreas State Troopers (SAST) function as the statewide law enforcement authority for the State of San Andreas. SAST maintains **unrestricted jurisdiction statewide** and assumes primary authority over highway enforcement and pursuit operations. In highway pursuits, SAST holds priority unless jurisdiction is formally transferred or permission is granted to another department.

#### **San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS)**

San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS) provides emergency medical response, patient care, and medical transport throughout the State of San Andreas. SAMS personnel operate in coordination with law enforcement and other public safety agencies to ensure the preservation of life, public health, and rapid emergency response.

#### **Department of Corrections (DOC)**

The Department of Corrections (DOC) is responsible for the custody, care, and supervision of incarcerated individuals within the State of San Andreas. DOC personnel manage correctional facilities, inmate transport, and rehabilitation processes while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
