You passed your interview! What’s next? After passing your interview, you will now wait for an academy date. This is run by DFT Director Richard Mackenzie. Here you will undergo an academy in two parts. Classroom and Field. After Academy, you will be in a Probationary Role where you will be able to do your FTO clearings. Once achieved you will then get the clearance to Full Pledged Officer. Here are some important things to understand and focus on until you are able to do your trainings: The Training document is something new, this is to allow you to be able to get cleared quicker, and understand what your FTOs want from you when doing in-field training. You will be assigned a badge number. This badge number is your ID# throughout your career. you will need to know your badge, and we will have a hard copy of it available, in the scenario you forget.
